And you think you, Brian, are better, more important, above the geese and other animals just because you are human? The geese aren't destroying the planet, killing each other, raping or abusing our women and children! People suck because they think they are above everything else...get over yourself! AND SAVE THE GEESE they are the very least of this community's problems!

Killing the geese and rattlings should be a last resort. Those are not permanent solutions as geese are birds of habit and will return each year to try and re-nest. More humane and long-term options are available. Scientific research has led to the development of extremely effective commercial products such as goose chase and goosebuster. You can safely deter Canada geese from any area permanently. Please contact Bird-X and use their products instead of harming the birds.

call the DNR!!! There are laws to protect migratory birds and their eggs!!! I am sick of people thinking they can control all of nature! Don't get it? They will come back. Just spend the money on more clean up and leave the geese alone!

Save the GEESE!!! They aren't hurting anyone. However, our mayor wants to hurt their migraotry practices because he doen't want to spend a few bucks to have the pavillion cleaned and the walks hosed reguarly! Give me a break...better yet, give the geese the break! I walk in that park several times a week and I don't see how anyone is being kept away by the geese! It's never been busier!Newell, pick on someone your own size!!!There is probably more Ecoli in his office bathroom than that pond! Anyone have a test kit?

i used to live by city park and last year i had 2 geese that wouldnt leave me alone, i opened my front door and they would try to come in, one was trying to nest in my flowers, however after the 4th of july carnival came and went the geese left with them, thank god, it was somewhat funny at first but gross and annoying after the first day!
