Next school year students in Wood County will have the opportunity to become more globally aware- first hand!

The West Virginia College Board has announced that Wood and Mason counties have been added to the list of Mountain state schools hosting Chinese teachers for the 2009 school year.

The addition of the Chinese teachers comes with the inclusion of teaching the Chinese language in the cirriculum and promoting global awareness and 21st century learning.

A total of seven teachers will be added in Wood, Mason, Monongahalia and Harrison counties.
