A program devoted to saving lives and finding lost loved ones got a hefty donation Thursday to help them expand across the state!

The Benedeum Foundation, which gives grant money to programs supporting education and healthcare, has awarded Project Lifesaver $50,000 to help expand the program to law enforcement agencies throughout the Mountain State.

Project Lifesaver has spent the past year providing tracking wristbands to people who have cognitive disorders like Autism and Alzheimer's.

Officials say this money will provide needed equipment and resources to better the program.
