Thursday the Delta Queen will be making a stop in Marietta, it could be one of the last trips the boat makes to the Valley.
The boat and all of it's passengers will be docking at 8:00 Thursday morning and will stay till 5:00.
The passengers will leave the boat for a few excursions they have planned throughout Marietta.
This could be the last season for the Delta Queen if Congress does not let the boat be exempt from certain safety standards.
"The Delta Queen has a wooden superstructure, so she is a historic vessel, that can't meet all the safety requirements of the Safety & Sea Act," says Kelly Blazosky, Executive Director for the Marietta, Washington County Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
Right now 10 trips to the Valley are still planned for this summer.
