Six Nelsonville residents were arrested in conjunction with a heroin ring police have been investigating for a year.

Last May, police identified a Columbus man as a heroin dealer.

Through cell phone records, federal agents arrested more people in connection to the drug ring.

27 people were named during the course of that investigation last month.

Thursday, members of the major crimes task force tracked down these six people from Nelsonville.

They are Paul Coon Jr., Samuel Gray, Kristine and Karessa Dixon, Mark Dowdy and Wilfred Murray.
