A 13 year old boy with autism is back safely with his family after wandering off Thursday morning.

His parents didn't want us to use his last name, but their son Daniel wandered off from his parents house around 11:00.

Daniel is outfitted with a Project Lifesaver tracking device and the Wood County Sheriff's Department was able to find him quickly.

Captain King says this was the fourth time they've ever had to use Project Lifesaver technology.

There are 46 clients on the system in the area.
