Repairs on the Harmar Bridge are right on schedule and will soon be water under the bridge.
Officials will celebrate the re-opening Monday with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Last weekend iron workers, plumbers and pipe fitters and Pioneer Pipe volunteered their labor to fix the major steel structural issues.
Their work saved the city almost $80,000, something Mayor Michael Mullen believes should be celebrated.
"That is a tribute to the generosity, the spirit that we have in this community, and all that travel that bridge will appreciate their kind contribution," says Mullen.
Mullen says the rain will not cause any delays for workers, it will be finished over the weekend.
You can join the opening celebration, head over to the east side harbor of the bridge in Marietta at 1:00, on Monday.
