We have some good news to report on the condition of Parkersburg South High School Principal Tom Eschbacher.

Wood County School Spokesperson Sue Woodward says, Mr. Eschbacher is out of surgery and responsive.

He was able to recite his ABC's during his four hour brain surgery to remove a tumor.

Woodward says the tumor did contain some cancer cells, but doctors were able to contain it.

Mr. Eschbacher is now in intensive care, where he will be for the next couple of days.

I,m glad that tom is doing well sends his surgery I,m and old student at south so I hope he gets better hpoe to see him at are class reunion of 2010

Praise The Lord. Tom is a great guy who is respected by so many people. He puts his whole heart into educating and protecting the students at South. God Bless him to a speedy recovery!
