Calls of a shooting on the 2500 block of Belmont Road came in right at midnight Thursday.
Police say 26-year-old Ricky Ratel shot and killed 28-year-old Eric Dunn, both of Parkersburg, during an argument.
Dunn was found on the ground, shot in the head and torso.
Police say Ratel had a dispute with the victim, and brought two friends with him to the scene of the alleged altercation.
Around 1:30 a.m., those two men, 26-year-old Brian Lee and 27-year-old Timothy Hill, both of Parkersburg, turned themselves in.
At about the same time, police began an immediate search for the weapon near the scene of the shooting next to Gihon Road.
Then, as day was breaking, police tracked down Ratel and arrested him on charges of first degree murder.
Lee and Hill were arraigned by Magistrate Jackson, who set $100,000 bond each. Ratel was also arraigned, but no bond was set. They all remain behind bars.
