A group of Red Cross volunteers are traveling to the flood-ravaged midwest Friday afternoon.
They'll be helping residents in Indiana deal with the devastating flooding from this week.
Many of the volunteers were just helping flood victims last weekend in Glenville, West Virginia.
Now they're preparing for the worst as they head out to this latest disaster.
Larry Edwards, Red Cross Volunteer says:
"When we go out like this we just basically go into an area with a lot of heartaches. We try to console the people and get them on their feet to start with. The American Red Cross basically is the first responders to people who need assistance. We get them on their feet get them medical supplies, food, shelter. It's the basic needs."
Emergency services director Katy Sulfridge says if anyone would like to join in with the volunteer efforts just contact the Mid-Ohio Valley chapter of the Red Cross.
