Williamstown High School officially has a new principal.

Tuesday, the Wood County Board of Education officially approved Pat Peters as the new principal.

Peters was the Assistant Principal at the High School.

Peters is replacing Principal Jack Mental who retired after three years.

Several board members spoke up at the meeting and said Peters is a great choice for the position.
