West Virginia's Governor made a trip to the mid-Ohio valley Friday morning.

Governor Joe Manchin was at the SW Resources plant in Parkersburg to make an economic announcement.

Pepsi and Dupont are coming together to make a new product at SW Resources.

It is bringing 100 new jobs to the facility.

The product is called The Encore and it will be used as a connection on Pepsi soda fountains across the country.

It's a small plastic device on the machine, but it will be used on every Pepsi machine.

SW Resources is planning on making four million in the next ten months.
As for jobs, SW Resources is going to make many of their part-time employees full-time.

But they say they will need to hire some from the outside to make up the full 100 person workforce.

SW Resources is hoping to start production in the next few days.
