About 450 people of all ages turned out to take a "Walk With The Animals" at the Washington County Fairgrounds Saturday.

The Crown of Life Lutheran Church sponsored the annual event where their numbers have more than doubled.

Visitors met Noah at the Ark and could place a personalized wood block on it.

Also there were Bible animal story skits, a puppet show, and more.

"I love it. It's a great community activity and fun thing to do," said Christi Uppole, a member of Crown of Life Lutheran Church.

"Well just thought it was something that would be really fun to do, something to offer to the community," said Pastor Joel Vogel.

There was a millipede, a hedgehog and even an alligator there.

Plus visitors could listen in on a session about how to take care of their pets and could learn about animals from a handler from the Good Zoo.
