A man who tried to sell drugs to an undercover cop in the south side Wal-Mart parking lot has pleaded guilty to the crime.

Carl Hendershot originally pleaded not guilty to the two counts of selling percocet in March.

Tuesday, he reached a plea agreement with the State and pleaded guilty to only one count.

In exchange, the State agreed to dismiss the other charge.

Hendershot's sentencing is in September.

He faces up to 15 years in prison and $25-thousand in fines.

here bob let me explain something to you.... if he pleads not guilty the state has to spend alot more money on his trial... then if they say hey you plead guilty to this one and we will drop the other one.... now the prosecutor has their conviction rate go up and the state saves money ..... and they still get their guy. dont assume this guy is a snitch because he decided he had better chances taking a deal... that didnt involve him snitching....and being a convicted felon of a drug offense i find its usually the ppl that talk that snitch stuff the most that snitch the quickest... so chew on that mouth piece :)

So Bob, you really should learn to spell before you open your mouth. Maybe you knew the drug dealer from your comment.
