A Wood County kindergarten teacher was arrested Wednesday night for second offense DUI.
State police say Paula McDonald was driving with a suspended license when she was pulled over around 2 a.m. near Kanawha Elementary School on Route 47.
Police say her license had been suspended as punishment for her first DUI offense.
The Fairplains Elementary School teacher is currently on leave from her job.
Superintendent Bill Niday says he can't comment on the reason nor the length of her absence.
McDonald posted her $2,000 bond the next morning.
