Last week two people died and seven were wounded when a man opened fire at a Unitarian Universalist Church in Tennessee.
Sunday about sixty members of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Marietta held a moment of silence and discussed the impact of the shooting at their service.
A member says people spoke of feeling hurt, angry, and having some fear.
"You know we are affiliated with all of the other Unitarian Universalist churches as an organization and how deeply saddened we all are and we wanted to reach out to them," said Laura Serna, a member of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Marietta.
One way the church is doing this is by adding a link to the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church on it's web site at http://www.fuusm.org.
Serna says this is where you can share grief, condolences, or help the families affected.
