This was a terrible tragedy. The friends of the children who died, did not learn anything from this loss. They have been out drinking and driving for the last two weekends. What exactly do parents think their children are doing at 3AM? Why are children just slapped on the hand when they are caught abusing drugs or alcohol and then given their car keys back? It is not just the reposibility of the children but also to the parents and law enforcement to keep these children and their potential victims safe. We, as a society, are failing our children when we don't intervene. These tragic losses can be preveneted if everyone would ban together and help our youth make good decisions.

Another horrible accident, two more families having to deal with devastating losses. Our hearts go out to all of the parents of the children lost this week. For all of the children out there that are driving vehicles - please know that driving may be fun but you are operating a potential killing machine. My children are grown now but it was always a fear that something horrible like this would happen to mine - thank the Lord that it did not. I only wish the clocks could be turned back and these horrible accidents would not have occurred. Perhaps the area parents and school systems could develop a program (with children participation) on vehicle safety. Maybe this wouldn't prevent all accidents but if 1 life is spared then it would be worth it.
