Two years ago, a two vehicle accident in Parkersburg killed a Palestine man and on Tuesday, the man that allegedly caused the accident, pleaded.
It happened on the corner of 8th and Julianna Streets, in 2006.
Timothy Mabe, of Charleston, ran a red light in his semi-truck and crashed into a silver Cadillac.
The passenger of the Cadillac, forty-three year old Randy Lockhart, from Palestine, died.
Lockhart was the owner of Singer Sheet Metal of Parkersburg.
Mabe was originally charged with vehicular manslaughter, but because of a supreme court ruling in a similar case, those charges were reduced.
On Tuesday, Magistrate Brenda Marshall fined Mabe and released him.
