A Cairo man is behind bars after authorities busted a suspected meth lab in his home.

Monday night, officials with the West Virginia State Police responded to the home of Guy Hardy, after they received an anonymous tip saying there was a meth lab at that location.

Police say after Hardy gave them permission to search the home, they found components of a meth lab inside.

A hazardous waste disposal unit was called from Parkersburg to clean up the scene.

Hardy is in the North Central Regional Jail on a $25,000.
