A woman who is charged with sexually abusing a 7 year old girl will now undergo a mental evaluation.

Melissa Brown was arrested back in May, with Martin Robinson, after authorities interviewed a 7-year-old victim.

Brown is charged with one count of Sexual Abuse.

She appeared in a Wood County courtroom Monday and was granted a mental evaluation.

Brown remains behind bars.
