It seems to me that alot of these comments are from people who seem to have some knowledge of what was going on. My questions is why didnt the Williamstown Police know more or did they know and just chose not to do more about it. If that is the case then the questions is did the police fall short because of lack of ability to do their job or were they afraid of calling attention to Williamstown in this way. It just seems like there is more to this than what is being told.

The 15 year olds mother knew very well exatly what was going on. I used to be Ambers best friend and I was set to testify against her. The sad part is that she only got sentenced for one and there were at least 4 underage people. YES she should be in prison for a long time if that would have been a teacher she would have had the book thrown at her. It really sucks that she pleaded guilty and took the deal and none of us were alloud to testify. I hope she is suffering and changes for her two precious kids.

There are people getting more time for lessor crimes and they are going to prison. How is that right? I think any crime involving a child should be automatically prison time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ther are people in prison for failure to pay child support. Not that I agree with people not paying support but I really think this is just as bad. She should be in prison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where was this 15 year old parents ? What was his parents doing to allow this woman in their house ? All is not black and white. Appears Amber had consent from this 15 year olds parents. Were their drugs and alchol involved ? Contributing to delingencey of a minor ? Too many questions are not being examined. May be the State needs to look deeper into this case for possible feloning charges?

I think what she did is very wrong and I hope she has not had relationships with more than just this boy. The very sad thing is she just got 6 months in jail but if she was a man she would be in there for much longer. I hope her husband steps up to the plate and files for a divorce and files for full custody of the kids. If the court system is smart it will not allow her to be alone with any children even her own.

Well 15 may not legally be the age of consent but it wasn't too many years ago when people were married as young as 14 (not that I agree with doing that). It's true their hormones are raging and they may not make the best decisions but neither do people in their 40's that cheat on their spouse make good decisions. I think statutory rape is just a bit nuts in many cases. Sounds like this woman may be a bit nuts too however.

I also agree with Contrarian. If it had been a man and if it had been someone from anywhere else but Williamstown they would have had a stiffer penalty. She has children and shes a convicted child molester. Will she be able to be alone with her children or other children when shes out of jail. I would hope not. I would hope CPS would step in and implament some kind of restrictions on the visitation with her kids. God be with her family, they must be going through alot right now. The only sympathy should be with them, she deserves none.

Roxanne.. under the law he is not old enough to consent.. she is 23 and had a husband.. she has issues. you said.. and ones that do a minor crime gets worse punishment.. this is a big deal- would u want a 23 year old woman messing with ur 15 yr old son??

what does "high socitity tree city" have anything to do with this? It was the city that caused this to happen...there are all types of people in every city or town or state! Get real!

I do not think it matters if the 15 year old knew better or not he is still a CHILD.. she was suppose to be the ADULT!!! I feel for both families since everyone will be affected by this. As a girl who was 13 when she was with a 23 yr old many many years ago, I did not fully understand what I was doing with him or the ripple effects my actions would have.. so why is the 15 year old being hounded when he was the child in the situation.

I agree with Contrarian how many guys have went to jail for it. Ther have been alot in Mtta and there were less years between the people. We all want to be treated equally well we got it!!!!! She is an adult and she should have made a better choice in her sex partner. Why wouldn't she want a man not a boy? That's messed up and people who defend her are messed up too. Think of her husband how embarassed he must be. It's quite a blow to his self esteem Not to mention her kids. They live in a small community everyone knows everyone. I would file for divorce today!

I think she ought to get more time then that. Yes the boy is 15 but he isn't the adult. She had no business looking at a 15 year old that way. 15 yr old kids have hormones raging. I have a 15 yr old son and she is lucky he wasn't mine. Wonder if it was a man doing that to a 15 yr old girl if you people would think differently? I think she is sick in the head! She ought to go to PRISON!

Interesting, how some people do not believe that this situation is such a big deal when the adult involved is a female. So much for equality of the sexes.

My only hope is that her children and husband don't suffer from her actions. And as for him being 15, he knows what he has and what to do with it just not old enough to think about the long term affects.Maybe the parents should be held accountable. I know for a fact having children this age is hard but this could have been avoided.Agian my thoughts and prayers are for her mother who did not raise her to be that way! and for her husband and children.
