The wing contest went from over 100 people trying to enter, to barely having seven. The rain, and the anti-hotel rumors that it was $20 per person, not $10, to get in really killed it this year. BUT, Even so, Having a professional win is to be expected, but that doesn't make it rigged. Some people went through more wings but mostly ate the fatty skin, it takes twice as much VOLUME fatty skin to equal the weight of actual meat. The contest is done by weight, Every pan was weighed, before and after, on certified scales, with impartial witnesses. Most weight consumed wins. Anything dropped, or spilled or on the table goes back into the pan. Learn how the pro's win, and it won't seem rigged.
