Huntington, W.Va. (AP) -- The Huntington Veterans Administration Medical Center is getting $5.9 million in federal stimulus funding to help pay for a new mental health complex.

U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall says the funding released by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will allow for work to begin on renovating a vacant 15,000 square-foot-building adjacent to the hospital.

Rahall said Tuesday that all outpatient mental health services will be relocated to the building.

Huntington VA Medical Center director Edward H. Seiler says the new complex will include three other buildings.
