Gauley Bridge, W.Va. (AP) -- A Braxton County teenager is dead after a boat overturned on the Kanawha River during a fishing outing.
Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler says three other anglers in the boat weren't injured.
The accident occurred Sunday morning near the Kanawha Falls public fishing area at Gauley Bridge.
Kessler identified the victim as 17-year-old Cyrus James Rose of Strange Creek. Searchers recovered Rose's body at Falls View.
Kessler says none of the people in the boat were wearing life jackets.
