The Athens County Sheriff's Office made three arrests on Thursday after an investigation on multiple thefts in the Hockingport area in Athens County.
36 year-old Robert Tippie and 31 year-old Darrell Hill from Coolville, were arrested and charged with burglary. Sheriff officials say Tippie and Hill were involved in breaking into campers in the Hockingport area over the last two months.
18 year-old Terry Bailey was arrested and charged with theft after two jet skis were stolen on June 23, 2009 from the Hockingport area. Tippie, Hill and Bailey all appeared in Municipal Court and were charged and released. All three are to stay away from the Hockingport Campground until trial August 7th.
