For the third time in five months union workers at the Eramet Plant will vote on a new contract.

The announcement comes after Eramet leaders discussed a new proposal with union representatives in a closed meeting Saturday.

Eramet's spokesperson Ethan Frank Collins says union members will vote on the latest contract this Thursday or Friday.

The union has been locked out since late August when their contract expired and a new agreement couldn't be reached.

Roughly 280 union workers remain on the picket line.
