Testimony is underway in an Athens county murder trial. The prosecution is continuing to call witnesses to testify against 17-year-old Abdifatah Abdi Thursday.

Abdi is facing two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of murder, both with a gun specification.

He is being tried as an adult for the death of Donnie Putnam in a New Marshfield home in February.

Officials with the Athens county prosecutors office say they expect the trial to last through next week.

Opening statements wrapped up Wednesday morning in an Athens County murder trial and now a jury is hearing testimony.

Jury selection continues Tuesday in an Athens county murder trial.

Jury selection begins in an Athens county murder trial Monday.

17-year-old Abdifatah Abdi is facing two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of murder. Both with a gun specification.

Abdi is being tried as an adult for the death of Donnie Putnam in a New Marshfield home in February.

He is the third of four suspects to go to trial for the incident.

The first two suspects to go to trial for the incident were found guilty and both sentenced to 28 years to life in prison.
