Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- An East Bank man has been convicted of sexually assaulting three prostitutes at knifepoint.

A Kanawha County circuit court jury found 31-year-old Thomas H. Gravely Jr. guilty on four counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of second-degree sexual assault Tuesday.

The prostitutes testified gravely assaulted them at knifepoint after approaching them on Charleston's west side.

Sentencing is set for Oct. 9.
