Saturday was the second day for the 34th Annual Ohio River Sternwheel Festival. Thousands of people flocked to Marietta to see the sights and enjoy the action along the river.

Kim Wilcox from Sistersville said the festival has been her family's vacation because of the tough economy.

"We could do everything we could do at Myrtle Beach. We got fudge and jelly beans. We looked at antiques, and rode on carnival rides. We have done everything there is to do today and it's excellent."

Butch Wiseman, the Director General of Sternwheel Festival was pleased with how the festival was going, "I would really like to thank the committee tremendously and all of our sponsors...Thank you to the whole Mid-Ohio Valley."

Sunday morning the festival begins with a sunrise service at 8:00 AM.
Followed by entertainment, and then at 1:00 PM the sternwheels take to the river for a race.
