A local boy gets in trouble for bringing a popular magazine to school.

Justin Reyes, a 6th grader at Belpre Middle School, brought the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue to school Wednesday.

The boy's family says he was suspended for bringing the magazine to school.

Superintendent Tim Swarr says Reyes was suspended for defiance of authority after refusing to go to alternative school as a punishment.

Swarr says the pictures inside the magazine are a violation of school policy as set in the school handbook.
