Woman Released from Hospital After Three Vehicle Accident

A hospital official said that Janice Clowes, who was taken to the hospital after the accident Saturday night, was released from the emergency room.

A three vehicle accident in downtown Parkersburg sent one woman to the hospital Saturday evening.
Police said it happened at the intersection of Eighth and Ann Streets around 8 p.m. Saturday.
Police said Janice Clowes was driving south on Ann Street, ran a red light, and hit a vehicle on Eighth Street which knocked into another car.
Police said the 55-year-old Millfield, Ohio resident was taken to Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.
A hospital official said Clowes was still being evaluated at 10:38 p.m. Saturday.
No other injuries were reported.
Police said Clowes was cited for running a red light and not having proof of insurance.
