West Virginia University at Parkersburg is on the receiving end of some federal stimulus funding to help the school go green.
WVU-P is the recipient of $250,000 in federal stimulus funds for an energy savings project at the Caperton Center for Applied Technology.
The Caperton Center project will involve the replacement of the facility's original heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems.
Four air handling units will be replaced with a single unit with hot water pre-heat and chilled water cooling.
The project is expected to be completed by the spring of 2010.
