Like providing drugs to junkies! How many lives will be ruined by this? No one mentions that. It's ok, I am sure they will have a hotline.

Hope Ohio does not implement this the way they did the lottery. I was a teacher in Ohio when the schools were promised lottery dollars for education. the dollars came with so many strings attached. For instance, you could use lottery dollars to purchase computers, but not operating systems, software, monitors or printers. Cables to hook up the computers were also not appropriate uses for lottery dollars.

More than likely, there aren't 19,000 Ohioans WANTING to work construction. Construction jobs are tough and people are wanting "gimme" jobs. My dad is a boilermaker and they are in dire need of people to work, but nobody will because it's "too hard".

I wonder how many of those 19,000 construction jobs promised will actually materialize - and of the ones which do, how many will be filled with low-wage out-of-state labor. Were there any guarantees that 19,000 jobs would be created AND filled with ONLY Ohio construction workers???

That is total crap. Are they afraid Ohio might have something? Those republican lawmakers should be run out of town.

Did I read this article right? The Republicans want to raise taxes? They actuallly want to double them? I thought that their goal in life was to leave big business alone and let them do what they want to. This is a first and I am going to mark it down on my calendar. I guess Ronald Reagan is rolling over in his grave right now. No More Taxes!!!! LOL The state government wrote the amendment and let it go to a vote. The people voted for it. Quit whining and leave them alone. You should have thought about this before and not change the rules in the middle of the game.
