A group of mostly graduate and undergraduate students from Marietta College gathered for Thanksgiving dinner at Marietta resident Barb Garverick's home Thursday.
Together they shared American and Chinese culture. The students helped Garverick cook the traditional turkey and all the trimmings plus some Chinese cuisine.
"This is the first time I saw the big turkey in my life, the whole turkey, because in China we sell the turkey legs in the supermarkets. It's amazing it's so big!" said Teresa Wu, a student at Marietta College.
These students told us there is a similar holiday in China called Mid-Autumn Day when families get together for a reunion.
