The Humane Society of the Mid-Ohio Valley and Washington State Community College teamed up Saturday to raise money for some very deserving animals.

More than two hundred folks from around the Valley stopped by the Adopt-A-Thon, sponsored in part by Phi Theta Kappa, a charity organization at WSCC.

Four furry friends even found a new home.

Those who weren't in the market for a cute new critter got to browse a community yard sale, and those proceeds also went to the Humane Society.
