As the winter storm arrived in the Mid-Ohio Valley Tuesday, Ohio counties quickly went to Level Two Snow Emergency declarations.
A level two declaration means that roads are snow covered and slippery. Motorists are advised not to travel unless necessary. Employees should contain their employers to determine if they need to report to work.
Many area counties never relaxed their level two declarations from the first storm over last weekend, while others saw conditions improve on Sunday and Monday.
The brief break in winter weather allowed many citizens to restock their supplies of food, fuel and essentials.
Another one to three inches of snow are possible Tuesday and again Wednesday, as the current low pressure system brings a mix of rain, sleet and finally snow again this week.
The winds are expected to pick up as the storm system passes Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
