49 Pounds of Marijuana Confiscated
Five police agencies in two states recovered 49 lbs. of marijuana.

Five police agencies in two states have been investigating a large quantity of drugs being brought into the valley.
Prior to June 22, those agencies had seized 49 pounds of marijuana and are still investigating others.
They searched four locations. One was at the home of 18-year-old Aaron Sarver at 210 Wooster Street in Marietta. There, a small amount of marijuana was seized along with some drug paraphernalia. Sarver was arrested.
The second location was 300 Philips Street, also in Marietta. Police discovered 14 pounds of marijuana at the home of 48-year-old Robert Boyce.
In Williamstown, the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force seized 22 pounds, $15,000 and two vehicles.
Also in connection with these busts, police arrested a Columbus man who was caught selling 13 pounds in Zanesville.
