Both Officers Released From Hospital After Chase
WTAP News Two officers injured in a high speed chase Thursday have been released from the hospital.

The officer bit by a police dog has been released from the hospital while the two copper theft suspects who led him on a high speed chase remain behind bars.
The chase, that ended in a crash, began Thursday morning in Wood County when police say Larry Patton and James Rucker were caught in the middle of a Breaking and Entering.
Police say they pursued the two suspects down Interstate 77 to Jackson County.
They tell us the crash sent Ravenswood Police Sergeant John Moore to the hospital.
He has since been treated and released.
And a police dog bit Sergeant S. Wolfe of the WV State Police.
Wolfe was also treated and released Thursday night.
Patton is charged with Fleeing While Driving Under the Influence and Fleeing Causing Bodily Injury.
Rucker is charged with conspiracy to commit both of those charges.
Both men remain behind bars at the South Central Regional Jail.
Police say more felony charges are pending from other counties and from the state.

Two men were behind bars Thursday after allegedly leading officers on a high speed chase on Interstate 77 that sent two police officers to hospitals.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. Thursday between the Fairplain and Ripley exits on I-77.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Bright said Ravenswood Police Officer Sergeant John Moore was taken to the Charleston Area Medical Center where he was under evaluation in the emergency room tonight.
Sheriff Bright said a West Virginia State Police trooper was bit by a K-9. The officer's name and condition are unknown.
According to Sheriff Bright the chase started at a Wood County cell phone tower when Larry Patton and James Rucker were allegedly caught stealing copper from the tower.
Patton has been arrested for fleeing while DUI and fleeing causing bodily injury. Rucker is behind bars for conspiracy to commit these two felonies.
According to WSAZ, Troopers said they believe shots were fired, but at this point, investigators haven't found a gun.
