One of the Valley's rivers is receiving high marks from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Ohio EPA officials are calling attention to the improvements in water quality in the Muskingum River.

They say over the past twenty years they've noticed a variety of fish, including the endangered Blue Sucker Fish, here, in Washington County.

Officials say the results reveal a high level of biological diversity and show the river is meeting the goals of the Federal Clean Water Act.

The Muskingum River stretches 112 miles from Marietta to Coshocton.
