Two teens have walked their way to Parkersburg all the way from San Francisco, and they aren't just exercising, they're walking for peace.
Ashley Casale and Michael Israel are on a cross country march for peace. Casale came up with the idea last year and set up her own website to bring on more walkers.
Their march is not just in protest of the Iraq war but also for peace as a basis for action.
"I'm really inspired by the need for peace especially with the war in Iraq going on but also by the need for peace in general in the world, so i thought a coast to coast march would be a really important thing to do".
Casale also says that even though the route is already planned out, finding places to stay at night has become difficult.
