In Mason County a Florida man was behind bars Saturday for allegedly trafficking drugs in the region.

Sheriff's deputies said 30-year-old Kenneth Brown of Longwood, Florida was arrested for trafficking 14 grams or more of oxycodone, possession with intent to distributed 20 grams or more of marijuana and possession of stolen property.

Brown was behind bars at the Western Regional Jail awaiting further criminal charges through the state of Florida and Ohio for similar drug based offenses.
