A man pleads guilty after causing chaos last year. In May 2011, 46- year-old Ron Woodrum called in a bomb threat to Washington State Community College.

A man pleads guilty after causing chaos last year.
In May 2011, 46- year-old Ron Woodrum called in a bomb threat to Washington State Community College.

Woodrum was a student at the college and on campus when he made the call.

The threat left the college with no choice but to evacuate, shutting down all five buildings, including a day care.

Police traced the phone calls back to Woodrum's phone, finding and questioning him at his home.

"He interviewed the defendant the defendant made a statement to Officer Hawkins that he acknowledged making the call and that it was all a bad joke," says the Washington County Prosecutor Jim Schneider..

He plead to second degree felony of inducing panic.

Prosecutors say Woodrum passed a competency test.

Woodrum appeared in front of Judge Ed Lane who says he will consider all damages during sentencing

Woodrum remains out on bond.
Sentencing is set for March 21.
