Whether you are building a new home, or looking for some cheap ideas to freshen up and re-model, The Great American Home Show has a little bit of something for everyone.

It's local businesses time to shine at the Great American Home Show.

"I love coming to the home show every year. It gives us a good opportunity to show and display our new and what's out there right now, and gives us good customers out of this weekend, " Tony Lang, from Langs Flooring says.

Home improvement businesses from around the valley have their booths set up and are ready to go, showcasing their work. and quality local goods.

"It helps us meet people in the area and they get to meet us and I like to keep all the work in this area instead of Cleveland and all the area and it helps build good business," Jill Sams from Airtight Construction says.

Everything you need for your home all in one location. Even some things you may not remember until the last minute. It's a one stop shop at the Home Show.

"People usually don't think about alarm systems until after the fact, until after the fact, until after they need it. We're trying to get the word out there if someone's building a new home we need to get the wires in before the drywall goes up. It will look a whole lot better," says Eric Reitmire, from Alarm Systems.

Learning how to improve your home, from outside landscaping, to inside decor...even tools in the kitchen. There's literally something for everyone.

Gary Coakley from Kitchen Craft Cookware says, "The big thing is to be healthier, and that's what we talk about."

And it's not just all about a healthy lifestyle. This demonstration teaches you how to save time and money at home.
"We will demonstrate how we can literally cook a entire meal, chicken and potatoes and vegetables and salad for less than 5 dollars and in just 15 minutes," Coakley says.

The home show runs Friday from 4-8 pm, Saturday from 9 .a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon till 4 pm. It's located in the old Big Bear building in the Park Shopping Center.
