Larry J. Riggs, 73, of Vienna passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late Lawrence and Ada J. Bailey Riggs.
Mr. Riggs was a 1955 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from Ironworkers Union Local #787 of Parkersburg. Mr. Riggs was dedicated to the preaching of the Kingdom and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall - Belpre Congregation.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Riggs; two daughters, Jennie S. Watkins and husband Kenny of Parkersburg and Marci L. Uhl and husband Herb of Vienna; four sons, Larry Scott Riggs of Davisville, Jason E. Riggs of Vienna, Ben J. Riggs and wife Carla of Vienna and Jesse W. Riggs of Leachtown; two brothers, Jim Riggs of Atmore, Alabama and Clement Riggs of Glenville; eight grandchildren, Cassidy, Danielle, Cody, Cyera, Braden, Bryce, Taylor and Brenna.
