Marjorie Ann Johnson Ringer, 76, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away May 2, 2008, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
She was born in Roanoke, Ala., a daughter of the late Jack and Edith Rookstool Johnson. She graduated from the Romney School for the deaf and was retired from Walker Systems in Parkersburg.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Girard of Spartanburg, S.C.; one son, Brian Ringer of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Edna Johnson Ratliff of Hopewell, Va., and Patricia Johnson Rowe of Richmond, Va.; and five grandchildren, Derrick Piggott, Doug Piggott, Jesse Girard, Sonia Girard and Kim Ringer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Ringer; and one brother, Charles Johnson.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with the Rev. Everett Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
