Virginia Rose Evans 88, of Orchard Street Marietta, OH, died Wednesday May 7, 2008, at Heartland of Marietta. she was born August 26, 1919 in Marietta, OH, to the late Harold and Freda Colville Davis Evans.
Virginia was a member of Gilman Ave. United Methodist church and had worked at the Lafayette Hotel.
She is survived by two brothers Willis Evans and his wife Jean of 375 B.F. Goodrich Road Marietta, OH 45750, and Jim Evans of Tucson, AZ. Two sisters Wanda Skidmore of Panama City, FL, and Joan Miller of Phoenix, AZ.
Preceded in death by her parents ans brothers Jack Evans and Fred Davis Jr. and one sister Jeanette Nicholson.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the chapel of East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the cemetery half hour befroe services.
