Martha L. Ankrom, 84, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away May 6, 2008 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 30, 1923 in Tyler County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Cordie Bliss and Nina Doak Owens. Martha was a homemaker and a member of the Vienna Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two children, David Ankrom and his wife, Cheryl, of Vienna, W.Va., and Corinne S. Tibbrine and her husband, Dominick, of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and two grandchildren, Jane Cirigliano and her husband, Jim, of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Andrew Ankrom of Vienna, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Ankrom, in Dec. 2001; one infant son; and one brother, Roy Owens.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va., with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
