Evelyn Marie (Patty) McCoy, 76, of New Matamoras died at her home at 3:15 A.M. Thursday May 8, 2008.
She was born on September 25, 1931 at Hartford, W.Va. On August 13, 1953 she married John Harvey McCoy Sr.
She is survived by two sons: James McCoy and his special friend Carol Smith of New Matamoras and Thomas McCoy of New Matamoras.
Three Daughters: Paula J. Thomas of New Matamoras, Sarah Kay (Loren) Cline of Mansfield, Ohio and Joyce (Donald) Zerkle of Hartford, W.Va.
Seven Grandchildren: Jasper J. Thomas, Amy S. and John R. Felter, Melissa M. and Amanda J. Cline and Stewart and James Zerkle.
Two Great Grandchildren and one brother also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son John Harvey McCoy Jr., one daughter Mary J. Felter, and one son in law Roger William Thomas.
The body will be taken to the Ewing Funeral Home in Pomeroy who will conduct the funeral services at the chapel of the Letart Falls Cemetery on Monday May 12, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will held at the cemetery chapel from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Letart Falls Cemetery.
Local arrangements are in charge of Hadley Funeral Home 700 Main St. New Matamoras, Ohio where friends may call on Saturday May 10, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
