Rosemary Alice Moraskie Hall, 76, of Cutler, OH died Friday, May 9, 2008 in her home. Rosemary was born May 15, 1931 in Duryea, PA, the eldest daughter of Joseph Moraskie and Margaret Scoda Moraskie. She attended Duryea High School. After her marriage to Carl Hall in 1952, they moved to southeastern Ohio to make their home and raise 6 children. Rosemary was an accomplished seamstress who worked both professionally and privately. She enjoyed painting, craftwork and visiting with family, neighbors and friends, and, most recently, with her new friends at the O’ Neil Senior Center in Marietta, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Carl Woodrow Hall, her sister Anna Moraskie Robbins, her son Fred Thomas Hall and her grandson Jason Carl Hall. She is survived by one brother, Harry P. Moraskie of Great Falls, MT; sons James W. Hall and his wife Tina, Carl B. Hall, Timothy J. Hall and his wife Cheryl; daughter-in-law Lou Hall; all of Cutler, OH; son Leslie M. Hall and his wife Susan of Columbus, OH; daughter Ruthann Hall and her husband Larry Butler of Ellensburg, WA; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Friday 2:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre. Burial of cremated remains will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Belpre. I was sorry to hear about my cousin Rosemary's death. My father was Walter Scoda, Margaret Scoda Moraskie's brother.
