Geraldine A. Sinnett, 89, of Parkersburg, died May 12, 2008 at The Arbors, Marietta, OH.
She was born Feb. 9, 1919 in Auburn, the daughter of the late Charles I. and Byrda Burwell Grose.
She graduated from Harrisville High School and worked in Dr. Asel Hatfield’s office, in Harrisville, The Harrisville Senior Citizens and Union Bank of Harrisville where she retired. She was a member of the Harrisville Baptist church for 52 years.
Mrs. Sinnett is survived by son, Denzil E. Sinnett of Parkersburg; daughter, Bonnie Yoho of Orville, OH; sisters, Margaret Rexroad and Evelyn Doll, both of Pennsboro; daughter-in-law, Iva Sinnett of Harrisville; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira “Tom” Sinnett; son, Burl Sinnett, daughter, Patricia Ann Sinnett; two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 16, 2008 at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville with Rev. Robert Perine officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrisville IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 9-1 PM.
